SAMMILAN EVENT WAS HELD IN KRISTU JAYANTI COLLEGE, AUTONOMOUS
On
February 24, 2024, Kristu Jayanti College Autonomous hosted the 8th Edition
VIDWAT SAMMILAN event, which featured an interactive session with institutional
leaders, including Prof. T. V. Kattimani, the Honourable Vice Chancellor of
Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh and this event father George
Augustine principle of Kristu Jayanti College was also present with some other
teachers. The focus of the session was on exploring the theme of
"Bharatiya Knowledge System in Higher Education." This discussion
delved into the unique aspects of Indian knowledge systems and their relevance
in contemporary higher education. The event commenced at 2:30 pm in the Jubilee
Auditorium, setting the stage for a comprehensive exploration of this
significant topic.
The session aimed to shed light on the rich heritage of knowledge systems that have been integral to India's cultural and intellectual fabric for centuries. These indigenous systems encompass various fields such as philosophy, literature, science, and spirituality, offering a holistic understanding of the universe and human existence. And he also shared his experiences with the students. The session was very helpful for the students because we gained knowledge that we were unaware of it.

After the event was over there was a questioning round where many students asked the questions and the replies, he gave were helpful for the students.
