Minor Project: Srujana Exhibition

SRUJANA EXHIBITION WAS HELD IN KRISTU JAYANTI COLLEGE, AUTONOMOUS

On February 26th, something exciting was happening at Kristu Jayanti College. It was an event organized by the Women's Empowerment Cell in collaboration with the Fine Arts Club called "SRUJANA," which is an art and craft exhibition cum sale. This event was open to all the departments of Kristu Jayanti College. This event is quite special because it happens every year, and it's a big deal for everyone involved. Fr. Joshy is one of the important people in the college community, so his presence added a lot of significance to the occasion. After the inauguration, the day started bustling with activity.

One of the highlights of the event was when Dr. Fr. Augustine George the principal of Kristu Jayanti College, Autonomous visited the stalls around noon. His visit was eagerly anticipated by both students and teachers alike. It was a moment of pride for everyone involved to showcase their hard work and creativity to such an esteemed guest. But let's rewind a bit and talk about the preparation that went into making SRUJANA a success. It wasn't something that happened overnight; in fact, students and teachers had been gearing up for this event for almost a month. There were numerous meetings, brainstorming sessions, and late-night preparations involved in putting everything together.

Two days before the event, the campus was abuzz with activity. Students and teachers were working tirelessly to set up the exhibition stalls. From arranging tables and chairs to decorating the venue with colorful banners and artwork, every detail was meticulously planned to ensure that SRUJANA would be a visually stunning experience for everyone who attended.

As the doors opened to the public, there was a sense of excitement and anticipation in the air. Visitors were greeted with a wide array of artwork and crafts, ranging from paintings and sculptures to handmade jewelry and pottery. Each stall was unique, reflecting the individuality and creativity of its creators. The theme of empowerment ran through every aspect of the event. Not only did it provide a platform for students to showcase their artistic talents, but it also served as a reminder of the importance of women's empowerment in today's society. The Women's Empowerment Cell played a crucial role in organizing the event, ensuring that it was inclusive and empowering for everyone involved. But SRUJANA wasn't just about admiring art; it was also an opportunity to support the talented artists and artisans within the college community. Many visitors took advantage of the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind pieces directly from the creators themselves, knowing that their contributions would directly support their fellow students and teachers. Throughout the day, from live painting demonstrations to interactive workshops, there was never a dull moment at SRUJANA. It was a vibrant celebration of art, creativity, and empowerment.

As the day drew to a close, there was a sense of satisfaction and pride among everyone involved. SRUJANA had been a resounding success, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the students, teachers, and organizers who had made it all possible. It was a reminder of the power of art to inspire, uplift, and unite people from all walks of life.
