Minor Project : Lit-Con Carnivalesque

LIT-CON EVENT WAS HELD IN KRISTU JAYANTI COLLEGE AUTONOMOUS

On 8th February there was an event happening in the Kristu Jayanti College, Autonomous which was something really exciting It’s called Lit-Con: Carnivalesque. This event is going to be super fun and interesting for everyone who comes. The event was inaugurated by Fr. Dr. Augustine George. His being there shows how important this event is for us and our college. Both teachers and students came to the event from different departments.

There will be lots of cool things to do at Lit-Con: Carnivalesque. You can see people dressed up as characters from books, which is called cosplay. There will also be plays and performances that bring stories to life right before your eyes. Plus, there will be games and quizzes that make learning about literature feel like playing. Lit-Con: Carnivalesque is like stepping into a magical world where books come to life. Imagine a carnival filled with games, costumes, and excitement. That's what this event is all about! We want to show how cool and amazing literature can be by making it fun and easy to understand for everyone. At these booths, you'll see people dressed up as characters from books, which is called cosplay. They'll act out scenes from stories, play fun games, and ask you questions to test your knowledge in quizzes. It's not just reading; it's like stepping right into the stories and being a part of them! And one of the coolest parts of Lit-Con: Carnivalesque is all the different booths you can visit. Imagine walking around and seeing all these little areas, each one about a different part of books and stories. It's like going on a mini adventure through the world of literature!

The best part is that you'll get to meet some of your favorite characters from books like there was a character of mermaid, ghost, queen which were role by the students and also there were some stalls set by the students, etc. And also, there were many characters which were very interesting, unique and nice. It's going to be like meeting celebrities from the world of stories. This event isn't just about books; it's also about how smart and creative our college community is. We're all part of a big group that loves learning and sharing cool ideas, and this event is a way to celebrate that. And that's exactly what we're going to do at Lit-Con: Carnivalesque. We're going to have an amazing time together, learn new things, and make great memories. So, get ready to join in the fun and celebrate with us! No matter what kind of books you like, there will be something for you. At this event, many students and teachers came for a visit and they all enjoyed it a lot.

At last, the day-long Carnivalesque offered interactive experiences such as games inspired by literature, providing attendees with opportunities to connect with their favorite literary works with their favorite works and adaptations. And both teachers and students were enjoying the event and that was one of the wonderful days for us.
